In my admittedly ancient Windows experience, PDCs always required as much hardware as you could throw at them. In general, it's not advisable to run _anything_ else on a PDC, unless you have an uber-powered mega-machine like a four-headed alpha (yes, I know they're not supported anymore) with about 8GB of RAM and a striped SCSI/RAID array.
