Air China To Buy 20 Airbus A330-200 Aircraft Wednesday January 26, 7:24 PM EST HONG KONG (Dow Jones)--Air China Ltd. (0753.HK) said Thursday it has entered into an agreement with Airbus (ABI.YY) to buy 20 A330-200 aircraft. In a disclosure, Air China said the catalogue value of the aircraft totals around US$2.86 billion, but the actual price would be lower than this. It didn't name the final price. Air China said the transaction would be funded internally and through commercial bank loans. No proceeds from the carrier's recent global offering will be used to bankroll the purchase.
