Hi to all, further news from Italy, DARWIN AIRLINE will put in connection from Feb. 21st. 2005 the route Lugano-Rome FCO extending the flight to Berne as origin in one of the two daily flights. IBERIA with effct April 1st. 2005 will add the routes: Cagliari-Barcelona (three times a week) on friday, saturday, sunday. Cagliari-Madrid (twice a week) on saturday and sunday. Both operated from Air Nostrum with CRJ200s. MAERSK AIR commence a five times weekly flight from Milan Mxp to Copenaghen with effect March 28th. 2005. Between June 15th. 2005 and August 15th. 2005 is reduced to three times a week. A weekly seasonal rotation on tuesdays is available from Catania to Copenaghen between June 15th. 2005 and Aug. 9th. 2005. MERIDIANA will not operate part of the new routes for the public obligation service with effect Jan. 1st. 2005 after the decision from the administrative court of Region Lazio where Alitalia has placed the opposition. Another opposition to that decision will be take in these days from Regione Sardinia and the same has invited the Department of Transport to place an opposition in favour of Meridiiana. The route announced and now dropped are: Turin-Alghero, Pisa-Alghero, Bologna-Alghero, Palermo-Cagliari, Pisa-Cagliari, Naples-Cagliari, Olbia-Verona, Verona-Cagliari. Meridiana will operate the routes Milan-Cagliari, Cagliari-Rome, Milan-Alghero and Alghero-Rome. NEOSAIR will operate a weekly charter rotation from Verona to Zanzibar-Mombasa every thursday with intermediate stop for fuel at Luxor southbound and northbound operated with B737/800 until Apr. 7th. 2005. NORTH AMERICAN today has operated a weekly charter rotation from Milan Mxp to La Romana with B767/300ER. WAY BRASIL operate from Dec. 19th. 2004 to March 20th. 2005 a weekly charter route from Milan Mxp to Fortaleza-Natal with B767/300ER every sundays with departure at 1320LT and arrival at 1120LT.
