It was just a 1G roll that most any airplane should be able to do in the hands of a skilled pilot.

I recall Bob Hoover doing it in a Rockwell Commander with the engines switched off
while pouring a cup of coffee for himself inside on-camera.
Whether a (FBW) Airbus would needs its protection envelope switched off first to do this, I don't know.
