Your Toyota is a Japanese car built by a Japanese company owned by the

Ahhh, that old chestnut!! I think you'll find that between the time the
Airbus company started and now the subsidizes have become less and less and
even then they were only loans that had to be repaid. In the end it all
doesn't matter. Most people try and get the best for their money. Judging
by the news recently some of Boeing deals (KC767) haven't exactly be
cosher. In the end everybody is out for what they can get.

BTW, I've often wondered, my Toyota was assembled in Knoxville, TN so is
it American made or should the label say "Assembled in America"!

That's the end of that discussion.

Airbus, whether anyone wnats to openly admit it, is subsidized more by the
European governments than Boeing is by the US Government.

Boeing aircraft are much better than Airbus. From a safety standpoint, I'd
much rather fly in a Boeing prodcut than an Airbus product.

BTW: Branson also wants the US losen the restrictions on foreign ownership
of airlines. This is totally wrong. The airlines, among all industries in
the USA, are vital to the defense. Many aircraft are committed to the
military in case of emergency.
