Why does there have to be an additional staff to clean the planes. I
think it makes sense to have the flight crews clean them while they are
just standing there anyway. Seem like lots of wasted money to me.

I'm not anti-union. Another friend of mine that works for F9 (no union)
got into some trouble for something that was pretty minor, and could
have really used union representation.

The reason is that the company will not hire enough cleaners,  trying to
make
one cleaning crew do the work of five.  There is a middle ground where
things
will work for everyone.
