Only the pilot and co-pilot were aboard the flight from Boston to Rockland, Maine, airport spokesman Doug Myers said. The plane's nose gear was malfunctioning, but "about 25 miles outside of Albany, we got the indication that all the wheels were down and locked, which meant it could land safely,'' said Myers. The aircraft is owned by Virginia-based Colgan Air Inc. After the landing shortly before 12:30 p.m., a secondary runway was closed while crews towed the plane.
