Your friend was absolutely right about this.  The master plans, even Hahn's
hairbrained scheme, all call for every runway to be lengthened to 12,000 feet.
Being that LAX is at sea level, that should give plenty of length for the
A380.  The fact that the north runways are narrow is a problem, and also the fact
that the west gates will take the area of the remote stands (though they
could be built to be A380 gates) is an issue.  Then again, Hahn could try to send
some of that A380 traffic to ONT (not that it will EVER happen) where they
have plenty of room LMAO.  Then again, the FIS would have to be expanded
