If you were to believe the airlines, you  know, the ones that say they fly
to 100's of cities, many airline fly around the world because of their code
shares.

I'm not sure if FedEx flies around the world because I haven't been able to
get a copy of their schedule.  I know UPS does (and with its own aircraft)
