Well, I remember reading in the Denver Post that UA is just barely meeting the minimum requirements for their lease for the gates on the A Concourse. They could afford to give up a few gates on A, but because they are too stubborn, they aren't going to. I got a feeling from this article that F9 is pretty unhappy with DEN and it's lack of support for F9's growth. So what's everyone think about F9 becoming a multi-hub carrier? Is STL the right choice to compliment their service network? Could this help F9 beef-up it's north-south service? -----Original Message----- From: Alireza Alivandivafa [mailto:DEmocrat2n@xxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, August 25, 2003 8:12 PM Subject: Re: St Louis Blues In a message dated 8/25/03 10:21:21 AM Pacific Daylight Time, clay.wardlow@xxxxxxxx writes: > > > > A friend of mine that's a flight attendant at Frontier (F9) said she's heard > rumors of F9 starting a hub in STL because DEN wouldn't give them the gates > they needed to expand. STL would not be a bad idea for anyone's expansion, considering that it is a big city, is well located and AA is scaling waaaay back there. It would also be a good spot for HP to spend some of that money they have been making lately. Also, I think DEN needs to get over its love affair with UA and give Frontier some of the gates they are not (and will not for a very, very long time) using
