This is the problem with any other airline these days.
Everybody wants lower fares, but how low can you go?
And then people complain about the aircrafts being stuffed
with seats, no service, long lines at the check in counter
and long wait times at the reservation phone numbers.

It's the good old Econ 101, you cannot maximize the guns
and butter you can have. :)

I just watched a news article on CBC that people at YYZ
were frustrated about the long waits at the Air Canada
lines today. The airline attributes the problem to drastic
cuts in the number of employees.

TSA is having hard time clearing people through security
because Congress told them "they have to save money , i.e
kill more jobs". There is a limit to each person can do.

Cutting the number of employees is not always good for
companies if you are trying to do more. The examples are
here everywhere..

 Joergen Lindegaard says:

``Customers are demanding less expensive tickets, and the
challenge we face is that of providing travel at a lower
price while maintaining the quality people expect from
us,'' he said in the report. ``This underscores the need to
continue cutting costs.''
