Continental Airlines Begins Daily Nonstop Service Between Houston and
Morelia, Mexico


HOUSTON, June 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL)
today began nonstop daily service between George Bush Intercontinental
Airport in Houston and the International Airport in Morelia, Mexico.

With the addition of Morelia, capital of the state of Michoacan,
Continental will serve 21 cities in Mexico. The airline already serves more
Mexican destinations than any other U.S. airline, with approximately 350
departures each week.

Continental will utilize the 50-passenger Embraer regional jet, known as
ExpressJet, on its nonstop service to Morelia. The flight schedule is:

The ExpressJet, operated by Continental's regional subsidiary, Continental
Express, offers amenities such as jet-bridge loading, a fully equipped
galley, a spacious lavatory, and a comfortable interior with only window
and aisle seating. Bilingual customer service representatives will be
available to assist passengers at ticket counters and departure/arrival gates.

Continental Airlines, the second-largest U.S. airline to Latin America and
the Caribbean in passengers and destinations, operates daily nonstop
flights for approximately 600 departures a week to 50 cities in 22
countries in those regions.

Continental Airlines "Latinization" initiative includes Spanish- and
Portuguese-speaking flight attendants, regional Latin cuisine, and Spanish-
language entertainment on board flights to Latin America; bilingual
customer service representatives and Spanish-language airport signage,
flight information, and e-ticket machines in major U.S. airports. In the
U.S., passengers may make reservations in Spanish at 1-800-537-9222.

Spanish-language, voice-activated flight arrival, departure and gate
