I know of some business (i.e. liquor,small mom and pop stores mostly) where they say will only take credit cards if your purchase ring up to either $5 or $10.00 even though according to Visa Internatial and Mastercard that is supposedly against the agreement they signed..with the credit card companies so this Qantas thing sound just like this..
