And of course the reverse scenario 'excuse.'

ACYYZ-YVR-HKG, would pick pax up in YVR, but not drop them off from
YYZ. It was a pity at the time as AC012/11 was a comfy 340-300 and left
YYZ at 2130-2200 making it a guaranteed last-flight out of Toronto to
Vancouver. You could get caught up in La Guardia traffic for a long
time and still make it home to Vancouver.

Now they do.

Not sure what they do on the reverse.
