Delta to Offer Customers More Seats Than Any Other Airline Between New
York's JFK Airport and Florida

ATLANTA, Oct. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL -
News), responding to strong customer demand between New York and Florida,
will offer customers more seats than any other carrier between New York's
John F. Kennedy International Airport and Florida this winter.
Delta will add the seats by reallocating 183-seat Boeing 757 aircraft to
Florida markets currently being served by 119-seat Boeing 737-200s. This
increases Delta's capacity to serve customers between New York's JFK
Airport and Florida by more than 50 percent.

Delta already offers customers more flights between New York and Florida
than any other airline, and now with the introduction of 757 flights,
Delta will offer more seats than any other carrier. This winter, Delta,
Delta Express and the Delta Connection carriers will offer 266 flights and
43,288 seats weekly to Florida from New York's LaGuardia, John F. Kennedy
International, Newark and Islip airports.

"Strong customer demand between New York and Florida has allowed us to
reallocate existing capacity to this important market and give our
customers even more choices for travel between Florida and our JFK gateway
-- where we offer nonstop service to more transatlantic destinations than
any other carrier," said Subodh Karnik, Delta's senior vice president -
Network and Revenue Management.
