Did Boeing (and hopefully the rest of the aerospace industry) figure this
out after the Gimli Glider (AC fin #604) ditched on an old air-force field
and the 767-200=B9s nose collapsed and folks had to egress from the rear door=
s
with the slides dangling just above the ground?
