No Charge to Fly Sept. 11

August 7, 2002

By AGENCE FRANCE-PRESSE

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Aug. 6 (Agence France-Presse) -
Spirit Airlines said today that it would not charge anyone
for flying Sept. 11, the first anniversary of deadly
terrorist attacks on the United States.

The company said the offer was good for those booking
flights by Sept. 8 through the airline's Web site or travel
agents.

Spirit, based in Fort Lauderdale, said it would be flying a
full schedule on Sept. 11, with more than 90 flights to 14
destinations in the United States.
