Dear Group:

May I say something that must be addressed.

There is a problem with all salaries in the industry. First of all the top
management also must give back. I am sorry but I have seen the people in the
trenches give up much and at the same time the top management still get all
they want!

I am speaking for experience. The last round just after 9/11 what did they
do? They cut staff! That is not the ways to make matters better. Look at
who is been making money, JetBlue, Southwest etc. Need I say more..

Look I have been with many airlines in both grunt positions and aslso as
V.P.'s and let me tell you, that the people in upper managemernt MUST get on
the floor and work with the staff and then they will know that what they are
being paid is not enough and Management must also cut theirs as well. But on
the same hand there are those (mechanics and pilots) that think they are God
and demand money. Guess what they are not and they can't be pigs about what
they are being paid.

The average worker in the US on the whole only gets around 9.50 to 10.00 and
Hour!

Guys, lets face facts the airline industry as we know it is dead and it is
time that it is run like a business and ALL employees are paid what they are
worth, not more or less just beacsue of the type of work they do. And that
includes upper and top management who have to get off their asses and get on
the floor and sweat!

I know that I will get a lot od feedback on this but I just had to state my
feelings.
