Canadian Y-codes took the nearest/local railway stations and added a Y in
front.

Some fields are newer or weren't near train stations. Hence YYZ.

MCI stands for Mid Continental something or another starting with "I"

Pet Peeve: Companies/Governments that use three letter acronyms that are
their own creation.

For Vancouver:

Airlines: YVR
Many Companies: VAN
US INS: VCR

Best license plate for those that get it: "YYZ LHR"
