Canadian charter airline eyes Hawaii Months after the collapse of Canada 3000, the second-largest Canadian airline and a major charter service to Hawaii, a new airline based in the western Canadian province of British Columbia is considering similar service. Vancouver-based MY Airways plans to begin service this summer and views Hawaii and Mexico as key destinations. Owner David Ho says he also thinks he will later be able to serve Hong Kong and other Asia destinations. The plan, Ho says, is to start small, with charters, and expand to scheduled service over the course of five years. Ho says a key part of his business plan is to control costs enough to be able to undercut Air Canada on price. All of this is just on paper so far. Ho is still lining up equipment and hiring his first 150 employees, the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau reports. _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com
