A small plane crashed into a downtown skyscraper Saturday. Tampa Police Department spokesman Joe Durkin said it was unknown how many people were on the plane or in the building. Durkin says there was no immediate word on injuries. The tail of the plane dangled from the western side of the building, about 15 floors down from the roof. Tampa Police and fire crews were on the scene. Durkin says the building did not appear to be on fire. The crash ocurred shortly after 5 p.m.
