Bad weather may hamper travel: Air Canada WebPosted Sun Dec 16 23:26:56 2001 MONTREAL - The country's largest airline is warning passengers to brace for delays and possible flight cancellations in southern Ontario and Quebec Monday. Bad weather may cause problems at airports in Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa, Air Canada said in a news release Sunday. The carrier recommends that people in those areas phone its toll-free reservations centre (1-888-247-2262 or 1-800-361-8071) before heading to the airport. People can also check the airline's Web site. Some delays were reported at Pearson International Airport in Toronto Friday night and Saturday morning after a snowfall. The flight schedule was back to normal by Sunday. Since many of the country's planes fly to or from Pearson, severe problems at the hub can affect air service in other provinces.
