Well, my update repository: http://yum.remsys.net/redhat/el4/updates/i386/ Lists a file xorg-x11-6.8.2-1.EL.33.0.2.i386.rpm, 13M, last modified 19-Jan-2008. Though, my base repository: http://yum.remsys.net/redhat/el4/os/i386/ Only lists xorg-x11-tools-6.8.2-1.EL.13.33.i386.rpm, 510K, last modified 02-Jun-2006. So perhaps something fishy is indeed going on, and the EL.33.0.2 release is mis-labeled? I don't know how to fix anything though without uninstalling, which I can't do because of other package dependencies. I don't know where the master EL repo would be. http://www.x.org says the most recent release is 7.3, so if I could find a repository which has that I might be able to bypass whatever issues I'm dealing with. However I don't know where such a repository might be, and unfortunately after some futile searching I can only conclude that I know enough to find such a repository. Is there any way I can downgrade from my EL.33.0.2 version to the EL.13.37.2 version without uninstalling the current version? And might anyone know where I can find a repository that has an .rpm of xorg-x11-tools version 7.0 or higher? Thank you. _______________________________________________ Yum mailing list Yum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://lists.dulug.duke.edu/mailman/listinfo/yum
