Re: proxy isa server

Hello Dave,
I have two various behaviors......
I am using centos 4.5 Operanting system.

If I execute the command "yum update" I obtain this message error:

Setting up Update Process
Setting up repositories
Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: update
Error: Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: update

-----------


If I execute up2date command the error message is :

-----------

There was a fatal error communicating with the server. The message was:

An HTTP error occurred:
URL: http://mirror.centos.org/centos/4/os/i386//headers/header.info
Status Code: 407
Error Message: Proxy Authentication Required ( The ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy filter is denied.  )

(The software up2date on Centos use yum?)


My proxy settings from yum.conf:

proxy=http://proxy.domainname:8080/
proxy_username=domainname\user
proxy_password=password

-------------

And from up2date conifig file:

------------

enableProxy=1
proxyPassword=password
enableProxyAuth=1
proxyUser=domainame\user
httpProxy=proxy.domainname:8080/
