[Yum] repoformat Upgrade Problem

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I have just two (fedora 3) repos in my yum.conf, and "yum update
zip" produces this:

[root@zenith yum]# yum update zip
Setting up Update Process
Setting up Repo:  base3
repomd.xml                100% |=========================|  951 B
00:00
Setting up Repo:  updates3
repomd.xml                100% |=========================|  951 B
00:00
Reading repository metadata in from local files
Could not find update match for zip
No Packages marked for Update/Obsoletion

But I have zip version:
[root@zenith yum]# rpm -q zip
zip-2.3-24

BUT, the updates 3 repository definatly has an update zip.rpm for
me:
ls -l RPMS/zip-0-2.3-26.3.i386.rpm
-rw-r--r--    1 ademko   ademko     116243 Nov  8 23:09 RPMS/zip-0-2.3-26.3.i386.rpm

This repo has be "createrepo'ed" a few times.

Am I missing something? Do i need to flip some bits somewhere or
nuke some state data that yum maintains now?
