It turns out createrepo[1] on my rh9 web server was created valid, but empty repositories (even though it showed itself iterating over the 1600 rpms very slowly and intensively). Running the createrepo process on my FC3 box produced valid, non-empty repodata stuff. Is there a createrepo rpm that is known to work on rh9?
