NO NO NO NO, not a bug. I found it. you're using rhl 8.0. with rpm 4.1-1.06, right? that's not the right version for yum 2.0.2. rpm 4.1.1 not 4.1-1 for yum 2.0.2. rpm 4.1-1.06 didn't handle the ts.addInstall(hdr, 'a') mode at all - so no deps will ever resolve with that. in fact I thought the spec file for yum 2.x required rpm >= 4.1.1 -sv
