I'm sorry...the ks.cfg file would have to run off a floppy disk in the machine you're building.  If you can do that, this would work.

But where does the original kickstart CFG come from? If that is stored on the network, we have a 'catch-22' here.

I would hazard a guess and suggest modifying the initrd to setup the networking. I haven't tried it, but it looks like it might be the way to go.
