Hi All,

I've finally gotten my completely hands-off upgrade procedure working
fairly well. However, for various reasons, the kickstart installation
bombs out. Some examples are this:
	1. I forget to export the nfs kickstart file to the client.
	2. There is an error in the kickstart file, so the installation
		bombs with an error.
	3. There is a problem with the disk partitioning or maybe the
mouse isn't auto recognized, so the installation pauses
asking for keyboard/mouse input to answer questions.

In any case, when I perform a hands-off upgrade, I set it in motion,
then I usually pray for success for an hour. If the machine doesn't
come back within an hour, THEN I walk over to the console to figure out
what went wrong. Is there any way for me to check the progress
while the upgrade is going on? Maybe something can be put into the
%post and %pre sections to send me updates. Or maybe there is a way
to watch the NFS server since the clients upgrade off the ISOS on my
NFS kickstart server.

I've been running "nfsstat -s" on the NFS server, and I can sort of see
the NFS traffic but this isn't very accurate.

It wouldn't be such an issue, but sometimes the computers are really
far away, and inconvient to access.

Thanks,

Cheryl
