Adding updates to a KS-ISO-install

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello all.

I've been using a RedHat 7.2 ISO with kickstart for some time now, which
basicly contained the needed RPM's plus some extra I made myself, and the
unneeded ones removed so it'll fit on one CD.
However, I'd now like to add the latest updates for it to the ISO CD, since
the old kernel image doesn't support the new hardware, and to save time
having to run up2date -u after every install.
Is there an easy way to integrate the new updates into a RedHat CD? I
remember seeing a script once that did it but it only worked for 6.2 IIRC.
