At one time, I am told, they were kickstarted successfully using 6.2... I am
attempting to kickstart using 7.2, however, I get a lot of scsi error
messages like this when the aic7xxx module gets insmod'd:

SCSI host 0 channel 0 reset (pid 0) timed out
SCSI bus is being reset for host 0 channel 0
SCSI host 0 abort (pid 0) timed out - resetting

Use `ks apic` (plus any other options that you use) at the boot prompt. This first appeared in RH 7.1 http://www.redhat.com/support/resources/gotchas/7.1/gotchas-71.html

If you are going to be using X, grab the XFree86-SVGA server from 7.1, or upgrade to XF4 from 7.3 (it may also work with the updated XF packages--I haven't tried them yet).
