overly verbose directive generated by ksconfig

  assuming that this is the place to discuss ksconfig, i'm curious
why ksconfig, for a single language selection, generated the
directive

langsupport --default en_US en_US

the above is obviously overkill since, if only one language has
been selected, it could have been written:

langsupport en_US

technically, the first form is not wrong, just overly wordy.
any reason why it was generated this way?
