a couple of red hat releases back, i recall designing (by hand) a ks.cfg file in which i wanted to completely skip network config. however, when i left out the "network" directive entirely, i was always prompted for that info. totally by accident, i found out that what i needed to add was the single line network currently, the red hat 7.3 customization guide states that "items that are not required can be omitted." since the network directive is listed as "optional", will leaving it out now result in no prompt? i don't have a machine to test this on, hence the asking. rday
