7.1 kickstart problems (NFS stalls and sig 11 floppy)

I am trying to get a kickstart installation going for RH 7.1 and I am stuck.

When I try to get the kickstart file using NFS, kickstart says that the
server is not responding.  I can mount the export on other RH 7.1 systems,
however.

I then tried to put the kickstart file on the boot floppy and I get a sig 11.

What can I do to diagnose the problem?  Anyone have any suggestions for a
solution?
