Im going to keep this generic but if more details are requested, i'll
surly entertain.
I have a good kickstart setup for Redhat 6.1, we can build machines with
minimal effort, and
for that I am grateful....
...until
I came across this problem when I tried kickstarting an SBC w/ an
810 intel chipset and integrated
video card. It just fails, flat out. This is were Im going to avoid
specifics but I need to ask this question.
Why should the whole install fail just because it cant set video?
I tried getting the new bootnet image, no luck. Do I need to d/l the
appropriate module and add it by
hand in initrd.img? Is there a workaround for this that im overlooking
or is this gross negligence on my
part because this is some extremely well documented problem that I didnt
read...
any feedback/hints/tips/curses/flames will be greatly appreciated...
