Re: func - Delegation

I'm only on my phone for a while so only a little helpful.

Basically

Overlord

Suboverlord1 Suboverlord2 minion1

Minion2-4  minion5-9

Sorry for the poor diagram.

But to be honest i could never find out why sometimes when calling minion5-9 suboverlord1 would complain and fail the run. And i poked at that code for months.

Do you have any more specific questions?

As an inactive project it should technically still run on py2.x, the life of the project is limited.

Personally i strongly recommend ansible, but some SaltStack is another common next step from func.

Hi guys,

The documentation around this subject is pretty weak (a general problem with the opensource community) and I am having problems setting this up. This is just constructive criticism and is not meant to take away from this great initiative,

Is there any better documentation so that I can understand what the configurations would look like on the master overlord, sub overlords and on the minions?
