You might want to check your cooling is adequate, then. I've left
memtest running for hours and nothing was heat stressed. Yes, it got
warm, but well within tolerance.
If I remember correctly, the temperature was in the upper 80s to 90 degrees C. I don't know what the limit is.
I have since done a quick gsmartdrive check on the hard drive. I seems to be ok. But it is a Seagate, so the test isn't completely valid.
