In the past I have had near infinite trouble getting scanners compatible with linux, but I just replaced a dead Epson multi-function device that I only ever used as a scanner with a Canoscan LIDE 300 and was shocked and amazed when it just worked out of the box. P.S. The epson isn't quite as bad as HP forbidding you from using the scanner if it is out of ink, but it finally decayed to the point that it decided there were errors with the ink cartridges, and nothing would allow it to use the scanner after that. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
