So, you can only login to that machine via ssh, correct?
Right now, yes.
And, doing an ssh to the new user account on that system is OK? Correct.
Yes, I can login, but the locale settings appear to be wrong: $ locale locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory LANG=en_US.UTF-8 LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8,LANG=en_US.UTF-8 [...]
Does your user on that "remote" machine have a ~/.ssh/config file?
No. There is no .ssh directory [yet], as the remote user never used ssh. Thank you. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
