Interesting. The URL https://sites.google.com/site/alexthepuffin/home given in the dnf info page
has examples, and says:
make sure that any user doing a mount is a member of the group 'fuse' so it can read and write to /dev/fuse
contrary to:
% ls -l /dev/fuse
crw-rw-rw-. 1 root root 10, 229 Apr 7 09:43 /dev/fuse
crw-rw-rw-. 1 root root 10, 229 Apr 7 09:43 /dev/fuse
