That depends. There are some add-ons that are completely incompatible with the new interface, and will never be converted. I've seen lists when searching on the topic - from what I could see, I don't use any of those. And some will have compromised functionality - the video downloaders are a case in point. They no longer have access to the video stream logic in firefox, so have to use an external app, and it is problematic to say the least. Some have decided not to make the switch, and many of those are being supplanted by new entrants. Mozilla has a recommended replacement page, though again, not everything has a replacement there. This is a mess, to be sure.
