Look in /sys/class/leds/. There is probably a directory with the name
phy*. Mine is called "phy0-led". In that directory is a "file"
called trigger. If you cat it, it will show you a list of possible
triggers for the LED with the current setting in []. You can change
it by writing the name of the trigger you want to the file.
Thanks Samuel, I checked that directory and there isn't any phy
directory/file in there. The three files that are there are for
capslock, scrolllock and numlock.
Just off topic to this thread, I didn't thank you for the information
you supplied to allow serialization of the mount requests in fstab for
my nas device. The information you supplied worked but have a side
effect that I would like to work around if I know how. The side effect
is that if the first mount, that the second mount is serializing on,
fails for any reason the second mount fails because the first one fails.
I would prefer that the second mount is attempted even if the first on
fails.
