Encouraging people to voice their views on Fedora issues and giving people advice on how a particular piece of Fedora operates so they can avoid problems seem to be very much a part of what this list is about.
Sure but that wasn't was much of the recent discussions have been about and people in the community should be calling that out and asking it to stop.

One can hope for that but it would be much easier if people just raised substantive points in a more easily consumed so decision makers can consume it directly by removing the toxic nature of some of the discussions.

Do remember that open source projects are contributor driven. Having said that,
* Technical issues - file bug reports.
* Discussions with developers - bring them to devel list

* Project level discussions - bring them to the board discuss list
