Allegedly, on or about 20 February 2014, Roger sent:
He says that windows has been updating itself very often, which seems
suspicious.
Suspicious that it's full of bugs?
But how often is often? Perhaps there's been a slew of recent updates
made available. Perhaps Windows has got stuck in a loop trying to
update something that keeps on failing to be applied. Perhaps it's one
of those groups of updates that needs to be done in stages, and it's
taking its time to go through each stage.
All of that, I do admit some suspicion though just because it's windows
and because it occasionally goes back to the computer shop for fixes,
etc. But then 90something% of computer users can't be wrong! I guess.
Anyway he has solved the problem and it's all gone away, for now!
Cheers
Roger
