For me, getting rid of it on my desktop solved the problem; it's OK on my laptop because the laptop does everything through DHCP, which NM understands and handles correctly. FWIW, a superficial search only found https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=785618 reported by you where you mention the problem you are seeing with resolv.conf but indicate that it isn't part of the issue you are reporting. Oh, well.
