PCLinuxOs is a rolling release that is active. It is quite conservative,
since the 64-bit version is only in "testing" at the moment. The
present kernel in use, just updated to, is 3.2.18. It's pretty complete,
and uses KDE, so rpm installs off the Internet work, even tho they
are deprecated by the devs, who think you should only use those
things in their approved repos. I have been using this distro since
summer of 2010, and I like it.There is a forum, but no mailing list,
AFAIK.

Yet ANOTHER distro I'm going to have to check out!......How do people
decide WHICH one of these things to PICK!?...I just stumbled upon
Fedora, and since it was my first encounter....I feel "bonded" to
it....but just knowing that there's all these OTHER distros that I can
check out....it makes my head spin!....LoL! Gonna be a BUSY fall season
for me!
