When mounted on the server, I might have emacs-nox, on the lab computer emacs-gtk and emacs-nox, and on my workstation emacs-gtk only. If the home directory is nfs mounted how can I set the alias in this environment? Having a script that does autodetection and has a "user prefers" setting makes more sense. -Toshio
