Im trying to think of the best way to get buy in for EPEL from the community. It is a big commitment to undertake. Who in the community wants EPEL?
I do. In this very moment I am trying to build nedit from FE6 in RHEL3

That seems like a very painful thing to do. And EPEL wouldn't help at
any rate. EPEL starts at RHEL 4 (which is closer to FC-3).
I know the differences too well... I use RH since v4.2.
As of this particular case a) I am stuck with RHEL3 b) it is painful because of new xorg vs old XFree plus lestiff vs openmotif, but not as painful as it sounds.

But let's stick to the original question ('who wants...').
