Of course. The default configuration is just to get people started.  User
should pick a nearby mirror and not use the fedora.us master server, which
is located on Hawaii.

Until Red Hat Linux 9 end-of-life, however, user should fetch errata
packages from a Red Hat Linux Updates mirror.
