The output of 'acpi -i' is ... Battery 0: Unknown, 98% Battery 0: design capacity 4577 mAh, last full capacity 3500 mAh = 76% If I remove the power plug, the laptop works fine on battery. But the tray icon shows a red 'x' mark and says 'no batteries available'. Also, the brightness automatically sets to around 70% on evry boot, even if the laptop is connected to AC power outlet. What could be the problem ? I've uninstalled some software from the default installation like kdepim, akonadi, telepathy and also all the apps that depend on kde4 libs. May be I've uninstalled something which is causing this.
